Saturday, June 9 it was so far. The long-awaited election of Mr. UCG 2012 was going to start. The flocking crowd to was intended to encourage their favorite master or kajiri . The participants gathered around the catwalk and wondered whether or not a tattoo would give extra points. The master of ceremonies Parvin invited the participants one by one to perform their poses to the public and some were indeed extraordinarily prepared. The crowd was delirious and shouted and the cheers were getting louder. Parvin invited the contestants for the last time to show their slim or muscular bodies.
The tension was enormous when the contest board showed ‘ voting is open’. When the final results became known, a roar was heard. The United Continent of Gor had a winner and two runners up. One of them was a huge Kur. Those who do not know what a Kur is, can read The Book of UCG, available in the Thira library or ask the Gorean authorities.
Congratulations to Lucien Gumbo, the Physican of Tabor, followed up by his boy, Gany/Unresponsible1, and WhiteFur/Mike Kuhr, the Kurii of Nyundo. Please congratulate them when you see them. Lucien will go on to compete in Mr. Gay 2012 on Saturday July 14th during the 5th Anniversary of the Gay Archipelago during Summerfest. Chapeau for all who helped behind the stage to make this event a blast.
HunterTx assumed the role of choreographer and directed all the participants and later the winners to take a pose and clicked repeatedly on the ‘snapshot button’. A large turnout, a friendly social struggle and three appetizing winners . Many clubs in the LGTB community will be jealous when reading this success story. In the GA, but also elsewhere people will vote during a party or a jury will consider who their candidate will be for the final election of Mr. Gay 2012.
The Gay Archipelago is asked to organize the grand finale. During the Summer festival, clubs, roleplay sims and estates will see their candidates during a show. It will be a challenge for them to defeat the UCG, however, the Gorean community keeps it simple: ” that the best looking man may win”. The festival has the theme of Myth and Magic, well, for many people, the imagination will run wild as they may see the finalists.
