23 and 26 April 1 PM SLT the team of Theatre on the Hill will perform the lovely show Lyrics of Love & Laughter and perhaps some more shows. Othon: Zane, you did it again, a new production for Theatre on the Hill. Congrats ! I watched the premiere and I noticed the reactions of the visitors. They were very pleased to hear songs in their own language. Was that your idea when you made your choice ?
Zane: Thank you. And, yes, I chose to have all the songs in their original languages. First of all, we have an audience from around the world. Secondly, I always think that great songs sound better in their original languages. I am glad people enjoy these timeless melodies.
Othon: I got from you all texts of the songs and most have also translations in English, it is too much text for this simple TotH magazine. But I saw near the stage a gift box named Libretto. Is this a new service of TotH ?
Zane: Well, we can’t expect everyone in the audience to know English, German, Spanish, and French, so I thought it a good idea to provide the libretto for those who really want to know the lyrics. I hope they found it useful.
