The Passing of Quezz Burton.

Quezz

On 02/22/12 Quezz Burton (One of the Founders of Rainbow City, Founder of InWorldz Gay Community, and One of the Organizers of Mardi Gras Festivities on InWorldz) passed away. He was on his way to the grocery store when he was struck by a semi-truck that hit a patch of ice and lost control. His brother who was driving the car they were in survived with a broken leg and broken arm. Quezz was not as lucky. He died while waiting for help to arrive on the scene.

His wish was to be cremated, and he was. His Real Life family will hold a family only memorial in Real Life. Once I (Genkido Ramaty) return to InWorldz, I will hold a funeral for his friends their, the funeral will be held on Rainbow City’s Sim for his friends there to attend to morn him and pay their respects. Though Mardi Gras was being held on Rainbow City this year. I know that Quezz Would want us to continue to celebrate it and celebrate for him, He wouldn’t want his and everyone elses hard work to go to waste. So after the mardi gras events the funeral for him will be held. I will release his InWorldz obituary and rememorance information as soon as things are planned.

May we remember the great things that Quezz has done, the things that he has offered the people of IW, the great friendships that he created, and all the good times that we had with him. May he rest in peace. He will certainly be missed by all, and forever loved by many.

All I can say is Wow. Another friend and contributor to this site gone. He graciously welcomed GWNews to his sim and I believe last spent time with our staffer Rocky there. He will surely be missed. RIP Quezz buddy.

I was so surprised to hear about this tonight. I had the pleasure of meeting Quezz not too long ago when he welcomed GWNews with office space at Rainbow City. I was very impressed with his effort in building a wonderful city. I pretty much got to see the city being built literally from the ground up. I would visit every few days to see the progress being made. He was very dedicated in his vision of creating and building up the LGBT community in InWorldz. Thank you Quezz for your friendship and yes you will be missed. Peace and light upon you always.
