We had a wonderful response to our GA Sandbox Survey that was completed last month and I would like to share with you the results.
1) Why do you come to the GA Sandbox (multiple answer per question selection)
71.7% said that they liked to build there
63% sadi that it was a safe place to build
58.7% Indicated that it was because it was GLBT friendly
50% indicated that the Sandbox Team was helpful and friendly
2) Do you use the public or private area to build?
The split between public and both areas was almost equal with a small percentage only using the private area
3) How often do you come to the Sandbox?
21.7% came to the Sandbox daily
The balance was between 3-4 days a week or lower
4) The majority of respondents rated the Sandbox between good and excellent in the following areas:
Sandbox Team support
Availability of the Sandbox Team
Enforcement of the Sandbox rules
Clarity of the Sandbox rules
Response to griefing, harassment or sim attacks
5) How old is your avatar?
32.9% of the Sandbox users were 1201 days or older
and 26% between 600-1200 days old
the rest were under those days in age
6) Some basic Sandbox questions that were answered (highest rating per category only shown)
Did you receive the Sandbox rules when you arrived? 80% said yes
Did you read the Sandbox rules or look at the rules board when you arrived? 80% said yes
Did you know this was a building Sandbox and not a weapons or sex Sandbox? 94% said yes
Did you know you contact a Sandbox Team member using the online indicator board? 89.9% said yes
Have you ever been banned from the Sandbox in the past? 91.% said no
Do you feel your prim objects were return too quickly? 82% said no
Do you listen to the Sandbox music stream? 54% said yes
Did you know you could request songs to be added to the music stream? 76% said no
Have you ever donated to the Sandbox donation box? 46.9% said no

While the sample for this survey was fairly small (50 users), it is sufficient to identify some trends. I look forward to any questions or comments on the survey.
